Yearly HMGS Conventions have been Sold Out but you can still get something nearby and walk over. Unlimited fun for all eras and generations. Beefier boys and old school nerds too.

I still remember seeing my friend with a World of Warcraft addiction, and heroine too. Just being around him he radiated hedonism and bohemia and libertine freedom. Going out into the realms of fantasy...
The food, the retail, and the Amish all make the trip there an absolute dream. Get into a tabeletop game at the tables. See how far out that is and how much is going on all over the place. It's sold out and then when another slot opened, that was sold out too.
Being a tourist and having a awesome hotel stay. Picking up special souvinirs that will escalate in value and it'll all work out. Big name brands and boutiquers and rarities and extremely collectible stuff all available the day of as the frenzy starts. Try Miller's Smorgasbord and be wowed with their spread.
Military history and scifi and other genres are readily accessible. Being in a walkable part of town has its kicks. Then on top of that all the things that stem off from this when you get back home again. You a gamer looking for game night? Say no more.
