the new genius idea to consider what works with my schedule so thinking about watching the nfl season this year and pairing that with junk food to lounge and watch sports at home no gambling though would it work is it sundays

 ok so the joys of a television appointment the live tv (others that are cool but don't line up for me late night with the disabled crowd when hbo had entourage) and the stadium that's there the crowd so come the end of summer thinking of preseason and that haul through to the superbowl in february the pleasure in keeping up with the games and the washington commanders the excitement of participating with that but then too maybe the downside to it not knowing what's going on or the dangers of the temptation to gamble with that

so heating up foods from the store going to get frozen stuff that i can use the air fryer on and make something for myself saving money that way there's (frozen stuff) wings bagel dogs jalapeno poppers taquitos other stuff nachos with jalapenos a vegetable tray with ranch dip the pizza specials advertised on the radio or on facebook papa johns

then there's if i went somewhere to get dominos the menu there pizza to get the appetizers the pasta the desert the soda 711 the hot foods bar hot dogs with chili the bakery chocolate chip cookies m&m cookies brownies and the conveneince and public place to go to to get fast food and come home the presentation the ritual the joys of gluttony the daze from eating junk food

enjoying the weather enjoying the season when fall starts little drives to go on getting groceries delivering mail for mom then the detroit lions game on thanksgiving going through then september october november before christmas in december when that gets here enjoying the pride the paraphernalia the jersey the gear the home team other stuff collectibles the cards at the store that excitement to be fanatic

the old days when i'd be drunk or in a stupor other eras that substance abuse so getting buzzed from food and the versus match the different teams the different cities home and away the commercials to watch the day unfolding with that on like a bonfire something to do something to look forward to the fun

the trashiness merch snacks getting comfortable being inside and having that source of entertainment running the field the refs referees um the sports anchors james brown howie long terry bradshaw tony romo dieon sanders the big names tom brady rg3 joe gibbs tony dungy troy aikmen

the art of it the line set the action the points scored the highlights reel the franchise players the colors the legacy the decadence of the era

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

 I'll tell you my story on this one. I got stationed overseas. My unit and I were about to deploy to Afghanistan. I was in debt from my student loan and reclassed from my MOS with my bonus. My peers basically told me I was going to become an amputee very shortly. (there's also a little bit of similarity to this and the Adam Driver story too). My unit covered down for me and basically asked what I'd be okay with. I basically got instructed to go AWOL (previously I saved up all my money to pay off my loan with by only eating at the DFAC chow hall) and I did. I first bought a guitar and then used my savings on hotels. Previously another trivia bit was there was a ad in Ft Gordon for Smart Piggy and it said there were high interest rates I had some money in there before cashing out. So while AWOL I recorded what happened to be about the exact amount of a vinyl record in addition to other extra recordings for another album.
