seeing this it being the 'can support himself' mil veteran style of the continued party that look like other times i had the unit and times with comrades and getting through tradoc advanced individual training

 so seeing people with jagged cool stuff before i'd learn of the us army in germany so the party as a young male in the military so there's like the first unit or the transition from tradoc (getting all packed up and seeing others some with relationships spouses) so the outfits mall clothes (the px) or being engrained with the job of waiting for orders for a deployment (vfw) until then the days around the duty station (the townies the barracks) so seeing georgia or maryland or south carolina or deustchland um hanging out with other 'junior enlisted' who had enough to get by a taxi ride (the chow hall the dfac) off post or huddle house for a diner breakfast (and shamming)(getting promoted) during the week um the day room with someone setting up video games or pro sports on the nfl season (many people ordering chinese food delivered) so the balance between active duty and a civilian social life so then afterwards how much of that continues (different circles to stay in and get around with couple guys the frat way) did people return to those fun spots schweinfurt augusta seattle england africa california

so my veterans out there seeing the washington dc va medical center the hospital and people lounging (and martinsburg the west virginia way) um seeing vets use cigarettes and alcohol the whole style brothers in arms and that espirit de corps so the different campaigns korea world war 2 vietnam the gulf war the war on terror so different frozen moments through life old friends to stay in touch with the look of the housing maybe a guitar and a ghetto music studio (and friends not in the service their presentation and look a car maybe their parents) the light from the windows and the outside how far to a 711 for hot foods cold booze um smokes that pseudo bodega in the suburbs um clothes fits maybe a little baggy or worn for a few days in a row or maybe rockstar-ish and slim fitted showing muscle

um what's there to do people having people over trying to get laid um using the computer youtube for stuff and researching interests education and self teaching doing stuff like cooking from scratch the grit the zest life being better with little customizations so being able to help your family financially and dutifully your parents your siblings more out there and the schpeel for why you should join

so the look um a single male whose had some adventures and afterwards some with tattoos um the look of skidrow the rocky balboa poster getting work paying your bills being able to take care of your life and social workers out there the introductions and going ons so life after the mil the suburbs the hobbies a den a work station um retirement disability so a car loan days spent on hobbies to paint miniatures and the list of veteran celebrities to use equipment or how to stimulate your mind and challenge yourself to improve and grow

some using benefits some having access to training and even the gi bill some using case workers and other counselors to be ok and ready for the morrow

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

 I'll tell you my story on this one. I got stationed overseas. My unit and I were about to deploy to Afghanistan. I was in debt from my student loan and reclassed from my MOS with my bonus. My peers basically told me I was going to become an amputee very shortly. (there's also a little bit of similarity to this and the Adam Driver story too). My unit covered down for me and basically asked what I'd be okay with. I basically got instructed to go AWOL (previously I saved up all my money to pay off my loan with by only eating at the DFAC chow hall) and I did. I first bought a guitar and then used my savings on hotels. Previously another trivia bit was there was a ad in Ft Gordon for Smart Piggy and it said there were high interest rates I had some money in there before cashing out. So while AWOL I recorded what happened to be about the exact amount of a vinyl record in addition to other extra recordings for another album. I was very proud of this album but maybe now much later...
