the end of the old eras i have no idea what exactly the future will be about or what'll change and what'll stay for how long

 so as a kid i got exposed to some marvel stan lee (and other later coincidental army names old men hero vets like hugh h of playboy) so it was coming of age from adolescence to adulthood even in my 30s the marvel stuff continues to roll out thinking he's dead now but his legacy and that of other places too lives on like walmart or miller's in pa um so i can't really predict what'll be the next big things or what'll happen to the old stuff getting older isn't the original founder and creator of mcdonald's dead 

another was george soros will be dead soon i think i got a pretty good part of the greatest generation like my mil experience being somewhat of a cakewalk at times (the romantic overseas tour) um so with that i was thinking like world war is getting completely gone thinking some of that being like people who were there for the nazi's the holocaust (not to offend anyone with the display of the war back then hitler and history) the stuff that's now just legend and folk tales for the most part most scary stuff i wasn't there for the dday and other battles 

was another long not forgotten war the civil war the revolutionary war the americans and the british the slavery mathematically figuring stuff people can live for about a century so a few generations of old timers from way back then 

some of it was anticipating when someday hopefully not soon my parents will die so the funeral but it'd be where will i have 'mindmapped' myself to um so some of that i said i'd assume i get a 'stateworker' for my caregiving and as far as being institutionalized some of it isn't that bad like i no longer smoke tobacco or other stuff and i don't drink alcohol or really do substance abuse (though was shocked by the marijuana laws changes though still read it mixed like it'd still be trouble some people building irreversible momentum in the wrong way the laws on distribution or other addiction problems affording it losing mil benefits) 

so some of it um will the war on terror be a lasting imprint on the future like how vietnam is still around so thinking of like paying the candle box and lighting that the image of whether that old media like 80s bill murray ground hogs day or other movies classic rock from when we all were younger 

so weathering the storm keeping on keeping encouragement staying with my family as the years settle in and more time accumulates so luray and plans progress um 

modern times modern america the recent presidents bush obama trump biden the 1960s space age each decade um

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

 I'll tell you my story on this one. I got stationed overseas. My unit and I were about to deploy to Afghanistan. I was in debt from my student loan and reclassed from my MOS with my bonus. My peers basically told me I was going to become an amputee very shortly. (there's also a little bit of similarity to this and the Adam Driver story too). My unit covered down for me and basically asked what I'd be okay with. I basically got instructed to go AWOL (previously I saved up all my money to pay off my loan with by only eating at the DFAC chow hall) and I did. I first bought a guitar and then used my savings on hotels. Previously another trivia bit was there was a ad in Ft Gordon for Smart Piggy and it said there were high interest rates I had some money in there before cashing out. So while AWOL I recorded what happened to be about the exact amount of a vinyl record in addition to other extra recordings for another album.
