my biography some of my history my life through childhood and into my 30s the passage on my american dreams

 so i was born in woodstock va i think as a baby i may have been in california but (and i guess leaving some parts like how it could get spun up like navy lores though all truth) so i grew up in front royal va (remembering the 90s fads) till leaving in 5th grade to come to alexandria (i stayed active and learned to skateboard and also did youth sports like football and basketball and baseball) for years i wanted to do some things like write a book be in a movie um be an artist i wanted to make music so i made good grades and graduated high school at west potomac (though at one point i got in danger with a under age drinking with some pals at a football game) and that being a good school (i'd party too getting access to drugs and alcohol at times) um after that i was accepted into vcu in richmond (i had a lot of fun crammed into about 2 yrs there) though i dropped out to enlist in the army in the military (where i got lots of certificates) i went to a few places i was in fort jackson south carolina for coed basic training i went to advanced individual training at fort meade maryland and fort gordon georgia um i got stationed in germany in schweinfurt later the base would close also i remembered seeing a nazi logo on the historical post before being medically discharged from the army that started my antipsychotics use initially haldol (things i'd never heard of that later i was stuck with and grew to enjoy a nice injection) an older generation drug um from there i returned home to live with my parents (and in between these stories lots of details like the van i bought from a puerot rican non comissioned officer flipping while on the highway) while saving up money and i then bought a home within walking distance to them (it was the same suburbs i'd grown up as a kid and later would see as the dead end for me home ownership like the neighbors) um along this time i started to get lots of progress with my hobbies (more finished things paintings movies writing publication photography) i spent a lot of time drinking at washington dc venues then most recently we moved to luray and still commute to alexandria i did mention some back and forth of quitting some hobbies out of fear and warnings and some still going based on good efforts that's up to now in my thirties

so i guess some things i did i paid a loan off um 

um i have a paycheck now i have a dog i go to the parents office suite um i guess i was getting ready to get old

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

 I'll tell you my story on this one. I got stationed overseas. My unit and I were about to deploy to Afghanistan. I was in debt from my student loan and reclassed from my MOS with my bonus. My peers basically told me I was going to become an amputee very shortly. (there's also a little bit of similarity to this and the Adam Driver story too). My unit covered down for me and basically asked what I'd be okay with. I basically got instructed to go AWOL (previously I saved up all my money to pay off my loan with by only eating at the DFAC chow hall) and I did. I first bought a guitar and then used my savings on hotels. Previously another trivia bit was there was a ad in Ft Gordon for Smart Piggy and it said there were high interest rates I had some money in there before cashing out. So while AWOL I recorded what happened to be about the exact amount of a vinyl record in addition to other extra recordings for another album.
