getting a dose of poverty greatly improved my understanding of the blues to cherish everything more after having had less than nothing the debt passed and poor eyes ushering in appreciation and charming grit for today unfolding

 ok so 'poorer eyes' i've mentioned this before basically for example in luray going to the store and seeing people who get by they might have a car that's older or i wonder where they live the trailers that grit and charm the cool side and even some of the 'trashy' stuff being endearing harsh cheap answers chicken wings pickled eggs

how much fun it was the times i've had exposure to my cousin this last visit in the winter him being next door to my brother in the downstairs bedroom tobacco in virginia um microwaving food making it really zapped and overheated then letting it cool down and savoring and appreciating it really cherishing it

so the poverty being reversed and the riches of life shown friendships hobbies pastimes dreams goals so making do getting some blue collar fashion and wearing it out carhartt tractor and supply wrangler dickies that durability it lasting a long time and fitting good enough maybe a little baggy levis

the cool stuff with country music hank williams iii garth brooks george strait aaron watson and another being that nostalgia the gimmicks elvis presley hank snow buck owens the 1940s old school records so the car the studio little improvements a rug a shoe rack the blacks charm the jews other cultures indians puerto ricans minorities spanish asian catholic christian

the punks being hungry getting access to resources art supplies mini notebooks writing a book writing poetry drawing sketches cartoons basquiat to be childish ghetto other movements pop art the iconic stuff the idea the core central concepts the rough side and refinements

the poor stuff the deli the life at home wealth and still staying even miserly black coffee addictions the option for cream and sugar or even going to a coffee shop dunkin donuts bagels starbucks drinks caffeine soda that sugar colas keeping those cans cold sports drink the cozy spot the best parts focusing on the blues the acoustic guitar

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

 I'll tell you my story on this one. I got stationed overseas. My unit and I were about to deploy to Afghanistan. I was in debt from my student loan and reclassed from my MOS with my bonus. My peers basically told me I was going to become an amputee very shortly. (there's also a little bit of similarity to this and the Adam Driver story too). My unit covered down for me and basically asked what I'd be okay with. I basically got instructed to go AWOL (previously I saved up all my money to pay off my loan with by only eating at the DFAC chow hall) and I did. I first bought a guitar and then used my savings on hotels. Previously another trivia bit was there was a ad in Ft Gordon for Smart Piggy and it said there were high interest rates I had some money in there before cashing out. So while AWOL I recorded what happened to be about the exact amount of a vinyl record in addition to other extra recordings for another album.
