the barracks so all the junior enlisted being by the chow hall the being near your friends and coworkers being at different duty stations germany georgia um getting your room set up with beginner stuff computer civilian clothes getting comfortable

a recording studio so the lounge too the cafe having caffeine sources and doing it yourself to save money having internet and a artist setting being able to produce new material coming up with new content and different formats for that music movies paintings miniatures posters autobiographies another was a boutique

the purpose of the rooms and the couches laying around having groceries so 'marinating' to use a va beach word the garage to lift weights in maybe think about getting an exercise bike um longboarding is there anything that's safe to walk to nearby the suburbs the mansion the creme de la creme neighborhood everything charming and good

a ski resort home a painters studio with work space for creativity a vacation house the stuff with the townies and the void the emptiness the ghost town being near a major city or having a veterans affairs home loan being happy to stay in sober and have fun things to occupy my time with

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

 I'll tell you my story on this one. I got stationed overseas. My unit and I were about to deploy to Afghanistan. I was in debt from my student loan and reclassed from my MOS with my bonus. My peers basically told me I was going to become an amputee very shortly. (there's also a little bit of similarity to this and the Adam Driver story too). My unit covered down for me and basically asked what I'd be okay with. I basically got instructed to go AWOL (previously I saved up all my money to pay off my loan with by only eating at the DFAC chow hall) and I did. I first bought a guitar and then used my savings on hotels. Previously another trivia bit was there was a ad in Ft Gordon for Smart Piggy and it said there were high interest rates I had some money in there before cashing out. So while AWOL I recorded what happened to be about the exact amount of a vinyl record in addition to other extra recordings for another album.
