a cozy time at my parents office the 2nd floor suite my two stations the desk with the computer with internet the painting station um all the potential of what to do and booking myself um to reference hm and wormwood text

 the suite is nice so there's my parents office in belle haven there's me on the 2nd floor in with my two work spots the desk where i'll blog and use the computer with internet and there's the painting station with some natural light from the window

so the whole day ahead of me my whole life to live my dreams to daydream to see what all there is really to do my new brilliant idea i am puzzling out being 'alternatives to drugs and gambling and other vices' avoiding the dangers and risks with that

so loving when i read henry miller and he'd talk about his job at the telegraph company doing deliveries as a courier or the neighborhood around there and his personal life his friendships the socializing and hanging out drinks or bumming around

um the internet having a presence online so the online cafe here doing things diy um having some unsweet teas throughout the day being able to walk to the shopping center near here or there's the potomac river and all the other nearby stuff when i used to go to the dog park or having washington dc nearby and national harbor and the walk to the metro

the life of a writer um so using the sketchbook here coming up with new ideas um being an artist and using the paints to make paintings um going to lunch there's riding with my parents there's times when my car is up here um

so all that potential what to do with my life and then too the dickens christmas carol yearly reminders scrooge um being miserly so stocking up the office with essentials and the days going past the year inching along each season summer fall winter spring

so alone and producing new material um step outside no more cigs um living life what to do the birchmere or other concerts the movies food um stocking up at walmart for groceries getting a food order wingstop primos um

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

 I'll tell you my story on this one. I got stationed overseas. My unit and I were about to deploy to Afghanistan. I was in debt from my student loan and reclassed from my MOS with my bonus. My peers basically told me I was going to become an amputee very shortly. (there's also a little bit of similarity to this and the Adam Driver story too). My unit covered down for me and basically asked what I'd be okay with. I basically got instructed to go AWOL (previously I saved up all my money to pay off my loan with by only eating at the DFAC chow hall) and I did. I first bought a guitar and then used my savings on hotels. Previously another trivia bit was there was a ad in Ft Gordon for Smart Piggy and it said there were high interest rates I had some money in there before cashing out. So while AWOL I recorded what happened to be about the exact amount of a vinyl record in addition to other extra recordings for another album.
