ok so the sale the 'product' so basically hobby supplies and approachable within reach concepts so some of it being 'artschool' habits so the hip world of maintaining your regular life and being an artist realistic projects that you can enjoy in your studio den or station

picture yourself taking some photos making a home movie of a family gathering painting something you visualized riding a longboard down something not difficult um recording yourself playing piano and doing vocals writing some manuscript and publishing it online ride a bicycle go for a walk to stay healthy

make it like a poster do no error genius content make a pharmacy photo order for a poster that looks like a screen saver or better um get merch made of your stuff be original collaborate with other creatives socialize and network see what is feasible

so having the mind to dream up new material to be a stand up comic to be a painter so using a sketchbook going for a walk playing an instrument blogging for the modern form of writing um to have an avenue for your creativity and mental stimulation read a training manual on a subject that interests you or test the waters and try your best

so all that university stuff extracted out and made available for the average citizens a writing prompt a lesson a thought provoking question and how to train your brain to work within the realms of originality and new ideas that can be digested by others

so the joys of it to hallucinate from it to draw parallels between you and maybe a celebrity you admire singers poets writers bands directors actors comics um so to walk into the world of musings new brilliant ideas and homemade projects

so acrylic paint canvases and this maybe instead of other stuff no drugs no booze so books to read biographies um sketchbooks lead pencils guitar strings guitars acoustic or electric a desktop computer a smartphone a camcorder a cassette tape deck caffeine coffee tea internet

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

 I'll tell you my story on this one. I got stationed overseas. My unit and I were about to deploy to Afghanistan. I was in debt from my student loan and reclassed from my MOS with my bonus. My peers basically told me I was going to become an amputee very shortly. (there's also a little bit of similarity to this and the Adam Driver story too). My unit covered down for me and basically asked what I'd be okay with. I basically got instructed to go AWOL (previously I saved up all my money to pay off my loan with by only eating at the DFAC chow hall) and I did. I first bought a guitar and then used my savings on hotels. Previously another trivia bit was there was a ad in Ft Gordon for Smart Piggy and it said there were high interest rates I had some money in there before cashing out. So while AWOL I recorded what happened to be about the exact amount of a vinyl record in addition to other extra recordings for another album.
