the next chapter: my 'virginia beach delusion' and trying to see into the future into the unknown and loving luray for now

 ok so i thought someday me and my whole family my brother my brothers kids his spouse and my parents we'd someday have everything work out perfect and i'd buy a detached house on the waterfront by the boardwalk at va beach and from there it'd be the next great adventure um then all the 'reality' things came out about why it wouldn't necessarily work some being like what my budget is or there being an actual hoa or a pseudo hoa um not getting kicked out that is but then um not wanting to do a condo or how our business is not there now

anyways what i saw was my parents would enjoy their retirement i'd have a great visual like one was i saw their was a wounded warrior project activity at va beach i think it was surf lessons where btw i thought helping my old roommate would continue to help me very much so that incentive um then there'd be fantasies about my property and being like a mtv cribs rich celebrity whose enjoying his days doing what i want a complete dream a great life um producing new material along the way

so another would be it's not the end there's more to look forward to i can still do my hobbies safely it's not time to quit and do as i saw the neighbors do when i was a kid and even years later doing the same things probably and nothing really changing that lesson being don't try just give in and complacency to be safe and not 'in a bad place' or dealing with other issues

so soaking up the sun being near my parents still walking over like luray where i call our in ground outdoor pool 'virginia beach' and i always try to think of some boosters like pizza was one i thought of um so for now making the most of where i am being near the walmart that being so convenient um enjoying the trips to northern virginia still producing my paintings station my blogs um

so the luray time um having my resources for hobbies and having time the golf course surrounding me with golfers golfing year round the mountain lined horizons the desolation and the near by cities the country life frozen food and groceries um

will my second house i bought be my last house i did really good on it too selling my first house and the move went soo smooth my parents really helped me greatly throughout the whole process i actually stayed with them for maybe two months while everything was getting done but fortunately it went pretty good and i did well cashing out in some ways

another was enjoying a story of a vcu basketball player who got picked up by a ny knicks team and thinking of that (though he had a tatt) um still living and doing well so doing the best i can do um enjoying hearing tales of 'celebs' or others i admired and visualizing that that whole hallucination with some different names here and there another story was a book i haven't got around to reading yet it was a henry miller book where he's living in california big sur and the oranges of hieronymus bosch

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

 I'll tell you my story on this one. I got stationed overseas. My unit and I were about to deploy to Afghanistan. I was in debt from my student loan and reclassed from my MOS with my bonus. My peers basically told me I was going to become an amputee very shortly. (there's also a little bit of similarity to this and the Adam Driver story too). My unit covered down for me and basically asked what I'd be okay with. I basically got instructed to go AWOL (previously I saved up all my money to pay off my loan with by only eating at the DFAC chow hall) and I did. I first bought a guitar and then used my savings on hotels. Previously another trivia bit was there was a ad in Ft Gordon for Smart Piggy and it said there were high interest rates I had some money in there before cashing out. So while AWOL I recorded what happened to be about the exact amount of a vinyl record in addition to other extra recordings for another album.
