survey thoughts: today back in the day modern retro style our parents memory of childhood that revamped 70s home the lawn and a sort of boardwalk town with the gas station and rockstar posters like surfer life

 so what about a look like a 70s recording studio session (the friends personalities) so some of that the lounge the sunshine (even the beach or pool) but instead too timeless equipment stuff that doesn't go bad (guitars toys posters) so there's the look of the boardwalk or distant drug laden suburbs near a grocery store then some style like t bone burnette so some good clothes leather button downs denim footwear and routines in and out of the property instead no cigs but there's couches and guests and an entourage

so the nostalgia the memory looking back on a time that already was documented or entertaining the past so there's the movie stuff the trailer like guest room or the available snacks the food table then there's the material and compositions that like pet sounds blonde on blonde abbey road are you experienced too maybe

different gimmicks from yesteryear the novelty the obnoxious the throwback vintage look so the ageplay getting along with old heads the seniority people um things to do like go get fast food so there's roy rogers with the hotel vibe the traffick there so the westerns visual these things giving good hallucinations falling into a dream

another was a good memory of a coworker in advanced individual training (ait) so that was before i left for germany and recorded ghost lovin' um so his red porsche his watch collection his background and education south carolina um the details about tradoc the chow hall the formations the others too national guard um the georgia life so soul food the townies outside the gate augusta georgia

what all is there to really do a living room with football on ordering food and getting it for carry out pizza wings other appetizers the look of the rest of the neighborhood the use of the car to get around good trends and new clothes the outfit shopping

the comfort of the pad the ash tray but not necessarily needing the smoking um things to warm up and center around the tv to watch the weather gilligans island the families the relatives cousins um the sitcom stuff maybe too even that 70s show how good of a time that was

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

 I'll tell you my story on this one. I got stationed overseas. My unit and I were about to deploy to Afghanistan. I was in debt from my student loan and reclassed from my MOS with my bonus. My peers basically told me I was going to become an amputee very shortly. (there's also a little bit of similarity to this and the Adam Driver story too). My unit covered down for me and basically asked what I'd be okay with. I basically got instructed to go AWOL (previously I saved up all my money to pay off my loan with by only eating at the DFAC chow hall) and I did. I first bought a guitar and then used my savings on hotels. Previously another trivia bit was there was a ad in Ft Gordon for Smart Piggy and it said there were high interest rates I had some money in there before cashing out. So while AWOL I recorded what happened to be about the exact amount of a vinyl record in addition to other extra recordings for another album.
