willie's roadhouse sirius station review it's a jolly good time with classic country from yesteryears the old days and western style boots cowboy hat um the saloon the outlaws the landscape
so a little backstory when i was in public school we had cable that was really good during that era so i'd learned of who willie nelson was he was openly shown basically as a big stoner (even despite it being illegal then a concept that confused me see rhcp as open illegal heroine addicts) um so i did get exposed to drugs back then like smoking what was said to be marijuanna um later on some of it may have been directions too for how and what people wanted with entertainment or an opportunity temporary that was there that i didn't miss
um so the station has this type of country music that i really enjoy it's old school new country basically seems like uncharismatic trashy racist white people as opposed to the classic old timers with charm and pretty pictures um names like hank snow buck owens names that when heard from keith richard or bob dylan they show something like the country music done right another was hank williams sr um that time enjoyed another era the 1940s too um
so some of it was like country music boots blue jeans twang little bit of blue grass um the hill billy stuff done right so i like another was the westerns the cowboy films um names like gabbie hayes roy rogers with the fastfood chain from the hotel company um john wayne buffalo bill burt lancaster the endless list of names for those that visual like the west clint eastwood too
so some of this um kfc good times life on the road so hearing it in my parents care our trip up overnighting the commute so there's looking out the window any pit stops stopping to go pee stopping to get food um leaving in the morning or leaving in the afternoon or later on in the day the good songs and easy listening
so it's a good time um some background noise and names that might be dead or not well known a story where i thought i had to keep showing up for everybody so this um maybe a little rough and gritty it's a good american sound and even maybe southern
