instant resell is that an investment or what you can correctly predict something will sell out and after that it's immediately worth more and you own one though was there something smarter to do instead

so i've seen this myself and seen it in my brother too with him liking some sneakers for me it was maybe merch or i'd get myself tickets before they were sold out but with that i couldn't really resell them i think there's policies against scalpers but i was thinking like things at stores that'll get sold out whether that's something like collectible vinyls early edition books (i speculated the new illustrated harry potters would be worth money when the whole set is compiled) um toys clothes miniatures (the whole resellers markets out there too the hobbies)

so here's the picture i'd see it'd be like here's my time spent to be one of the first people to get a copy of what ever it is then after that it's immediately bid up by maybe fifty dollars or so so is that worth it and is it always a guarantee i've seen other collectors or stores have lots of stuff in there like a bank vault with theoretical values on tangible copies

other parts having money put into goods could be even pseudo money laundering (see the gray areas over the drug money) but using the money to work for you so load up your property with collectibles and it's nice to have a copy for yourself even if for superstition or greed the longing for these special items

conversely i would be somewhat foolish at the end all the effort to get to whatever possession it was some belongings at my house that i avoided good fast food for and had a strict budgeted diet for only to then be charitable and donate something to a charity or an expert so the hassle of listing or finding someone interested like i have a error printing on a top ramen that i heard online could be worth something but i wouldn't really know where to sell it at like ebay and that having issues or facebook marketplace

enjoy having a collection the browsing of your own personal library of your at home inventory

Can someone help with an answer to this scenario? Is this feasible? Should I invest my energy in something else instead? Was instead I meant to have a guitar legacy? Was I tricked and niave? It seems like countless others get away with this and do it the wrong way.

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

some of my quotes i remembered compiled extracted from fb (that doesn't work)
