childhood fingerboarding remembering that awesome time other stuff going on at that age now today as new starts begin and continuing on great hobbies

 so i was in middle school i was starting to go through puberty a neighbor gave me a used complete skateboard to practice on i learned ollies (and lots of grinds few other tricks 180) at the toy shop i managed to scrounge up some of a growing collection at my parents house in the suburbs by the public school system i'd gotten into rock and roll at this age too (maybe not going into some prep stuff all the way) um so there'd be the computer of that age the aol chats with girls and boys (the under age drinking i mentioned) so really getting into the finger boarding maybe some of that was a precursor to my college thrill ride and that drop out and pay off with the army so it was the summers quite boring spongebob on cable um eventually bangbus 30 sec sample clips downloaded (and the viruses that went with that my dad having to i think it was reformat the hard drive) um rocket power of course going over to neighorhood friends houses their pads the living room the computer room the bedroom so those times with my parents going to work looking online on the tech deck forums (all types of cool stuff pictures uploaded too before cell phones and smartphones right at the tip) the making stuff to fingerboard on or chatting with strangers um the fun of the mall back then that later closed (it was like a circus or looking at shoes the pac sun later incense) the food court with my parents dad and mom back then to keep going seeing little things i could do here and there to keep things afloat and not dead ending and my developing network knowing other kids my age walking over there seasons and streets when malcolm and the middle was on getting good grades shopping for clothes the marshalls nearby in throughout the year some people having terrain to skate sean with his homemade box with coping that could be pulled out the john d with boxes rails and other stuff (some homemade too) doing manuals other people being better then me other names geoff rowley jamie thomas andrew reynolds steve caballero bam margera um getting into a cash source rick and walking the dogs then other stuff getting food like a bag of flaming hot cheetos at seven 11 (the first time i had that it was like burnt my taste buds and was crucial) but what i guess was was that the stuff that got me to some of my goals i wanted to like live and be free and wild (be an artist or some non office life guitars in the background) so going back to the origin point i'd remember collectibles like early edition releases being sought after i actually donated my whole collection of stuff numerous times (music movies) and it was do i now sort of regret giving my nephew all my toys my action figures my finger boards all gone but anyways i can remember that novelty age like when i'd get to the mall to hot topic try to get a band shirt jimi h jim m with some saved lunch money from a friend who had all types of tricks like that um seeing the spencer's store glow in the dark stuff posters black light um that being like the 2000s being sort of like the nineties for others a clear decade of computers internet and hobbies digital cameras as the age of social media was on the way so my little room set up cosy and getting older becoming 18 as an adult and later when we moved to a nicer house my ego and presentation like others julian casablancas of the strokes the millionaire band leader the view and how i'd still walk walking to high school or to the shopping center with that little fat wallet i had renting movies getting a signature sandwich from the deli with all the delicious toppings a cream cheese spread on rustic italian olive and oil spread some artichokes the meats and cheese at the grocery store that age and era money spent on altoids to impress the ladies um being invited and what to do parents dropping us off at skate spots later there'd be the concerts we'd get taken to all that fun the opening something and the like mind blowing time having different builds to do trucks wheels bushings decks all that collected up a spacemaker container and other stuff searched online cheap orders that didn't happen that much usually there'd be something around us to get in person um pro skate stuff and other stuff coming off that  the longboards and when we went to california in my sophmore year of high school the flight the sight seeing going to hollywood the hills the properties the wine and once there was a laundry detergent bottle that opened on the ride that confused us thinking it was flowers outside santa cruz oakland san francisco and thinking of that stuff until later the huge even sort of rumspringer of vcu richmond so that being a kid and hoping for my future when we'd have family activities one time going to dc to see the tree or when we'd go to a nice later aubrey style restuarant (single alone not to cancerous but great buffet spreads these great ones like todays golden coral or texas de brazil) so what's the difference with todays tech decks also it might be better being alone but i remember some finger board stuff being good too um the skate art on them tony hawk um will i be able to keep that better as the youth childhood toys um having many other interests bicycling video games miniatures painting guitar piano blogging videos fashion catholicism caffeine um well yeah good times when those early ones all the details and savoring of that being a kid i guess other stuff at that age when spider man with tobey maguire was in theatres the trilogy from marvel all types of stuff like that
