sober budget showmanship extra money for style and what to do with the money saved hobbies fashion meals toys bills lawn care car payments

 ok so i no longer drink and i am mostly 'straight edge' so noticing that i may have more money while not dealing with addictions so no more daily packs of cigarettes no getting high on marijuana um no going to the bar and basically being 'clean'

so what to do with the money well for one there's putting some into savings that can be smart and i can be happy about that later on um then there's other stuff the option to buy some nice clothes occasionally the recent lacoste sale was fun

sometimes there might be some splurges here and there going to walmart and seeing what toys they have maybe those will help me and also be collectible um so getting some goods tech decks action figures um that fun that being young and helping my family too my parents

the option for charity so donating to the poor box that being karmaic and wise um donating to the food drive being generous and thoughtful to understand others troubles and be thankful for where i am at now um to help the community

getting landscaping done at my house other little things to improve upon um to get some guitar strings that extra little bit of money for something better maybe going out to eat occasionally the joys of fast food and restaurants um being pseudo wealthy being able to make car payments

the nice thing about having some money to use getting hobby supplies that almost as an investment being able to afford paint paint brushes canvases other stuff miniatures books a amazon music membership um my pet and his food and waste bags lots of advantages

Was this actually to my niave innocent ignorance a extremely stupid idea?

 I'll tell you my story on this one. I got stationed overseas. My unit and I were about to deploy to Afghanistan. I was in debt from my student loan and reclassed from my MOS with my bonus. My peers basically told me I was going to become an amputee very shortly. (there's also a little bit of similarity to this and the Adam Driver story too). My unit covered down for me and basically asked what I'd be okay with. I basically got instructed to go AWOL (previously I saved up all my money to pay off my loan with by only eating at the DFAC chow hall) and I did. I first bought a guitar and then used my savings on hotels. Previously another trivia bit was there was a ad in Ft Gordon for Smart Piggy and it said there were high interest rates I had some money in there before cashing out. So while AWOL I recorded what happened to be about the exact amount of a vinyl record in addition to other extra recordings for another album.
